My family has always pronounced my last name with a silent "S" and long "E's" like ZEEBEE or just the letters ZB. It's Hungarian (there it would be pronounced more like Jzebba) which means roughly "pocket" as my family on my paternal grandfather's side were gypsies (pick pockets).
